Dynamic attribution of alarm messages for alarm escalation

The system has a message release (1) generating message and/or an alarm, whereby the message and/or the alarm has an attribute (C). A processing device (2) is provided for the representation of the message and/or the alarm, and the release transmits the attribute with the message and/or the alarm to the processing device. The device has a unit for the evaluation of the attribute and represents the message based on the evaluation. An independent claim is also included for a method of generating and representing messages and/or alarms in an automation system.
