Single frequence repeater for terrestrial digital television networks

The repeater has a pair of converters to convert a radio frequency (RF) signal to an intermediate frequency signal and an intermediate frequency signal to an RF signal, respectively. A digital equalizer filter has a digital signal processor (3) to calculate co-efficient of the filter at the time of phase shifting of the filter and to directly provide values of all the filter co-efficient. The filter is applied with a digital base band signal resulting from digitalization in an intermediate frequency, a conversion frequency and a digital automatic gain control frequency. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for re-broadcasting signals at a single frequency, of a type used in a single frequency signal repeater (2) an information medium readable by a computer system, comprising computer program instructions permitting the implementation of a signal processing method (3) a computer program stored on an information medium, with instructions permitting the implementation of a signal processing method.
