An electrical connector (10) comprising: a plurality of mutually stackable base housings (11a, 11b, 11c) having the same shape, each of the base housings (11a, 11b, 11c) having contact accommodating cavities (16a, 16b, 16c) in a single row; at least one lock housing that is attached to the uppermost (11a) and/or lowermost (11c) base housing and a plurality of contacts (30a, 30b, 30c) that are connected to a flat cable (2) and are accommodated in the contact accommodating cavities (16a, 16b, 16c). The invention provides an electrical connector connected to a flat cable (2), a wire harness, and a method for arranging a wire harness in which the work for arranging the wire harness is easy and simple, the cost is low, and the degree of freedom in the housing construction is high.
