The orthopaedic frame for moving the lower jaw (1) forward uses paired connector bars (2) coupled to the lower (1) and upper (3) jaws via links (4,5). Each bar is made of two telescopic sections (6,7) and one link forms a double ball joint so that both links are mounted on a connector casing (8). The telescopic rod (7) has radially spaced connecting plate (12).
