The device has an analog-to-digital converter (31) operating a sub-sampling of a received signal to induce a partial overlapping of ranges of the frequencies of a sub-sampled useful signal and an interfering signal. A demodulation unit (34) is coupled in the output of the converter to bring the useful signal into a base band. A low pass filter is coupled in the output of the demodulation unit, and a matched filter is matched to a used spreading code. An additional optimal filter is disposed between the low-pass filter and the matched filter to implement stochastic matched filtering.
