The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for generating an attack packet DB using a Snort rule to extract data for performance measurement of an information protection system.;It includes attack DB generator which parses Snort's rule and extracts only important information that forms attack packet into DB and database DB through parsing,;User can get information about attack packet from DB and use it, and the information saved is divided into options for packet header and options for packet option part. An apparatus and a method of using the invention are invented to perform these processes at once.;Attack packet DB
