SLUDGE TREATING SYSTEM FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE SLUDGE SETTLABILITY IN A RECTANGULAR SETTLING TANK

A sludge treatment apparatus for improving precipitation of the sludge in a final precipitation pond is provided to collect the poorly precipitated sludge microorganism from the final precipitation pond and to scrap selectively the sludge microorganism. A first hopper(21) collects the precipitation sludge of a portion between a processing water introducing part and an intermediate part at a final precipitation site(20). A second hopper(22) collects the precipitation sludge of a portion between the intermediate part and a liquid outflow part at the final precipitation site. A sludge returning member(24) is connected to the first hopper and returns the sludge of the first hopper into an organism reaction container(10). A returning sludge control member(25) is connected to the second hopper and returns the sludge of the second hopper into the organism reaction container.
