An IC card equipped with a point reduction function, a point reduction system, and a mobile terminal, a terminal device, and a recording medium for the same are provided to make a point reduction interface more convenient and widen application of the IC card by reducing point stored in the IC card or a memory installed to the mobile terminal according to reference point reduction information stored in a storage medium. An I/O(Input/Output) interface(110) inputs and outputs data. The IC chip(105) stores point information, point accumulation date/time information, and point expiration term information. A processor(115) operates the application reducing the point stored in the memory(120) according to expiration of the point after checking the accumulation date/time information and the expiration term information stored in the IC chip.
