PURPOSE: A fermented milk product containing a Rubi Fructus concentrate is provided. It reduces lactose maldigestion, increases immunity, improves diarrhea caused by rotavirus, and reduces mutagenicity of feces or the like. CONSTITUTION: About 70 to 90% by weight of fermented milk is mixed with 10 to 30% by weight of a Rubi Fructus extract, agitated and then homogenized. The Rubi Fructus extract is prepared by adding 2 to 3 times of sugar or honey to Rubi Fructus and then leaving to settle for 8 to 15 days. For an example, Rubi Fructus is dried in the shade for 4 to 10hr, added 2 to 3 times of sugar or honey and allowed to settle for 8 to 15 days. Then, 80% by weight of fermented milk is mixed with 20% by weight of the Rubi Fructus extract and homogenized at a pressure of 150kg/cm2.
