Asymmetrical torch-type apparatus for generating plasma under atmospheric pressure

PURPOSE: An asymmetric torch type atmospheric plasma generator is provided to prevent short circuit between a plasma gas and an electrode by forming the electrode on an outside of an insulator nozzle. CONSTITUTION: An insulator nozzle(110) includes a couple of first plates(111a,111b) and a couple of second plates(112a,112b). An interval(L1) between upper parts of the first plates is larger than an interval(L2) between lower parts of the first plates. The first plates are used as a top-bottom nozzle. The second plates are extended from each lower outside of the first plates. A first electrode(121) and a second electrode(122) are installed on each outside of the first plates. The first and the second electrodes have different polarity.
