PURPOSE: An equalizing device using an error back propagation neural network for removing nonlinear distortion is provided to efficiently remove the nonlinear ISI(Inter Symbol Interference), minimize a noise influence, and improve equalizing performance. CONSTITUTION: A delay part(1) makes buffers for delaying a digital input signal form one line. An operator(3) is connected to a delay line as many as the delay lines of the delay part, and outputs an estimated value for a digital input signal string by operating the delay signal provided from the delay lines and each weight through a function. A detector(7) calculates a determined value of a digital form depending on an output signal of the operator and receives an operation result as a reference signal by providing the determined value to the operator.
