PURPOSE: A unit for opening and closing the door of a microwave oven is provided to conveniently attach a door opening and closing unit by preparing the door opening and closing unit as a set. CONSTITUTION: A unit for opening and closing the door of a microwave oven comprises a handle member gripped by a user and a handle connecting member including a nut(131) combined with the handle member, a handle mount closely adhered to the outer face of the handle member and a connecting bolt for fixing the handle mount with the handle member via the nut and the handle mount. The nut includes a body(131a) inserted to the through hole of the handle member and having a planar portion(131a') and a toothed portion(131a) and a head(131b) for protruding the nut out of the handle member.
