摘要

PURPOSE: A method of forming soil granules on culture soil for horticultural use to improve the water permeability and air permeability by mixing glass cullet with soil is provided. The culture soil formed with soil granules exerts excellent effect of promoting plant growth. CONSTITUTION: The soil granules are formed on culture soil for horticultural use by mixing 10 to 50% by volume of glass cullet having a particle size of 1 to 3mm with soil culture soil for horticultural use. In an experimental trial, the addition of 10 to 30% by volume of glass cullet promotes the growth of African marigold, in particular, the particle size of 1mm promotes the growth, as compared to that of 3mm.
