PURPOSE: A wavelength division multiplexing device is provided to perform dispersion compensation and dispersion slope compensation generated by transmitting optical pulses through optical fibers based on using a pure phase sampling fiber Bragg grating. CONSTITUTION: The wavelength division multiplexing device includes the first optical circulator comprising a plurality of first ports, and a fiber Bragg grating reflecting or transmitting a part of wavelength channels of an optical signal inputted to the first optical circulator by being connected to one of the plurality of ports. The fiber Bragg grating is a phase sampling grating where a refractive index of a core in the optical fiber is modulated by generating chirped grating period and chirped sampling period. The chirped grating period and the chirped sampling period are designed so that dispersion values of all wavelength channels reflected from the fiber Bragg grating have the primary function relation as to the wavelength.
