Program up-date method of process management system for semiconductor

PURPOSE: A program updating method of semiconductor process management system is provided to reduce a manual operation of an operator and to smoothly control a host server managing an overall operation by automatically checking a version downloading, and registering a register by a client server at updating time and by having always data of the same version of an entire line client servers. CONSTITUTION: A process operates a version checking program at a predetermined version checking time with plural client servers(101,102,103...N) connected through a network to a host server(10) storing a main program, and identifies information of the client server(101,102,103...N) version and the host server(10) version. When the client server(101,102,103...N) version and the host version(10) is different to each other, the process terminates the program running on the plural client servers and stores in the plural client server(101,102,103...N) an updated program downloaded existing on the host server. When the downloading is finished, system starts again as adding file starting the program received download to a beginning program. The process starts again the system and registers a system file at a register. The process eliminates the beginning file at the beginning program and then executes the received program downloaded.
