PURPOSE: A ZVS compensation device for a resonant DC/DC converter and control method thereof is provided to supply a transistor driving signal having ZVS time compensated to a transistor so that a switching time of a transistor installed in a resonant DC/DC converter can be done at a correct ZVS time. CONSTITUTION: The ZVS compensation device for a resonant DC/DC converter includes a resonant DC/DC converter(100), a microcomputer(200), an error signal detector(300), an on-time compensation portion(400) and a driving pulse generation portion(500). The resonant DC/DC converter supplies a power supply voltage to each electric automobile by controlling the switching operation of a transistor(T1). The microcomputer receives an output supply voltage command signal which a user selects and supplies a supply voltage level which the user wants. The error signal detector detects an error supply voltage signal at a transistor(T1) on-time by measuring a voltage of the transistor(T1) at the on-time of the transistor(T1) included in the resonant DC/DC converter. The on-time compensation portion is connected to a signal output of the microcomputer and the error signal detector, receives a PWM period signal output from the microcomputer and the error supply voltage signal output from the error signal detector, compensate the on-time of the transistor(T1) installed in the resonant DC/DC converter, and outputs an on signal of the transistor which the on-time is compensated. The driving pulse generation portion is connected to the signal output terminal of the microcomputer and the on-time compensation portion, receives and latches the PWM period signal output from the microcomputer and the on signal of the transistor output from the on-time compensation portion, and outputs a final transistor on driving signal.
