USE OF PIGMENT YELLOW 155 IN ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONERS AND DEVELOPERS, POWDER COATINGS AND INKJET INKS

The disazo pigment C.I. Pigment Yellow 155 (I) is used as colorant in electrophotographic toners and developers, powders and powder lacquers, electret materials, color filter and ink jet inks. The disazo pigment C.I. Pigment Yellow 155 is 1,4-bis( alpha -(2,5-dimethoxycarbonylphenylazo) -acetoacetylamino)benzene of formula (I): Independent claims are also included for (a) electrophotographic toners or developers; (b) powders or powder lacquers; (c) the production of electrophotographic toners or developers, powders or powder lacquers; and (d) ink jet and hot melt ink jet inks.
