PURPOSE: Provided is a process of preparing a fiber-sieve complex by the chemical binding of a zeolite molecular sieve ionized with metal ions having bactericidal activity or an analogue thereof to natural fiber having a hydroxyl group on the surface thereof such as cellulose, cotton, hemp, liner or the like as a substrate. Whereby, the complex is greatly favorable in the utility and practical aspects because it has flexibility, and has antibacterial activity. CONSTITUTION: This fiber-sieve complex comprises (i) a substrate having a hydroxyl group on the surface, (ii) a molecular sieve particle selected from a porous oxide having a hydroxyl group on the surface or sulfide, and (iii) a linking chain derived from a linking compound linking one side end to the substrate and another side end to the molecular sieve particle, wherein the bond of the substrate, the linking chain and the molecular sieve is achieved by a covalent bond, an ionic bond and/or a coordinate bond and the linking chain is the chain derived from one or more organic linking compounds.
