PURPOSE: A communication system is provided to be able to smoothly convert when a gateway to be originally used is converted to the other gateway. CONSTITUTION: A communication system to establish the communication with a radio information terminal and a server through a gateway(4,5) has; an information notifying device to notify the generation of a gateway conversion to the radio information terminal at having the converting order of the gateway; a communication starting device to execute the starting order of the communication with the gateway of a converting place by accepting the needed information to communicate with the server through the gateway of the converting place from the gateway of a converting resource; a reopening starting device to stop the communication with the gateway of the converting place, and to execute the reopening order of the communication with the gateway of the converting place at the same time.
