PURPOSE: A method for increasing efficiency of a trunk of a code division multiple access mobile communication system and a code division multiple access mobile communication system using the same are provided to maximize efficiency of a transmission interval by increasing subscriber capacity by trunks between a local site and a center of a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) mobile communication system by transmitting data of a plurality of users by using one IP header. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station(20) communicates with the closest base transceiver subsystem. A base transceiver subsystem(22) receives a voice signal received from the mobile station(20) for modulating and demodulating the received voice signal, and transmits the signal to a base station controller(24) through an IP(Internet Protocol)/E1 trunk. The base station controller(24) converts the voice signal into a PCM(Pulse Code Modulation) code to be transmitted to a mobile switching center(28). An RMTP(Real-time Multichannel Transmission Protocol) is applied as a superior protocol to UDP(User Datagram Protocol)/IP to convert voice traffic frames of a plurality of users having the same outgoing address and incoming address into one IP frame.
