A two-stage compression hybrid heat pump system for making hot water and cool water is provided to operate a compressor stably, and to improve efficiency by cooling steam from a compressor outlet with a flash type intercooler, regulating the opening degree of a control valve with a water level sensor and returning solution to a desorber with opening a solution return valve. A two-stage compression hybrid heat pump system comprises a desorber(1) evaporating refrigerant having high vapor pressure among low temperature and low pressure refrigerant-absorbent mixture through an electronic expansion valve(5), a compressor(6) compressing steam from the desorber, a weak solution pump(2) compressing weak solution for making high pressure solution, an absorber(4) absorbing by mixing compressed steam with high pressure solution, a flash type intercooler(18) cooling gas refrigerant compressed from the compressor, a high-stage compressor(17) compressing and discharging steam from the flash type intercooler to the absorber, an intercooling control valve(20) mixing high temperature steam of the flash type intercooler with weak solution discharged from the weak solution pump, and a solution return valve(21) returning liquid from the flash type intercooler to the desorber. Water flowing into the system through a water or heat sink inlet(9) is heated by using absorption heat in absorbing steam in the absorber to make hot water.
