A water treatment equipment for waterworks that removes contaminants such as iron and so on generated from the metal pipes and prevents corrosion and scaling of the metal pipes at the same time by mounting the water treatment equipment between the metal pipes while using conventional metal pipes as they are is provided. A water treatment equipment(100) for waterworks comprises: (a) a water gauge(120) for measuring an amount of water flown in from an inflow pipe(112); (b) a distributing and fixing part(130) which is connected to a water pipe connected to the water gauge, in which a pipe passageway is formed to continuously flow water flown in the distributing and fixing part through the pipe passageway, which connects the water pipe to the pipe passageway again, and which solidly fixes the water pipe to the bottom of a body part(110) as a whole; (c) a filtering part(140) for filtering water transferred through the distributing and fixing part; and (d) a scale booster(150) which converts iron component dissolved in water flowing out of the filtering part from an acicular structure to a globular structure and emits water-soluble zinc into water at the same time, and which is connected to a discharge pipe(114).
