OPEN WEDGE PLATE FOR OPENING WEDGE HIGH TIBIAL OSTEOTOMY

A metallic fixing apparatus for opening a wedge in high tibial osteotomy is provided to obtain stable fixation without causing the damage of soft tissues by reducing volume thereof. A metallic fixing unit(10) includes a bone fixing part(11) and a bone supporting part(15). The bone fixing part has a plate shape and a constant thickness. The bone supporting part is formed vertically in a center of the bone fixing part. The bone supporting part is used for forming a bone cutting part by separating tibias from each other. The bone supporting part is formed with a deficit part for supporting a bone, supporting legs(17) as both sides of the deficit part, a nut hole having a screw thread, and an inclined edge(18). The bone fixing part includes screw inserting holes(12,13).
