Platy nuclear fuel arranged in regular spherical particles of gamma image U-Mo or U-Mo-X and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to prevent over-reaction between nuclear fuel and aluminum and suppress generation of an intermetal compound reaction layer by minimizing a reaction interface area between the nuclear fuel and the aluminum. Platy nuclear fuel includes one or more layers of very large spherical particles of U-Mo or U-Mo-X-based alloy which are regularly arranged on an aluminum coating material. A diameter of the very large spherical particles of the U-Mo or U-Mo-X-based alloy has a range between 300 and 700 micrometers.
