FIELD: railway transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail vehicles and it can be used on railway trains with induction traction motors supplied from static voltage and frequency converters. According to proposed method, continuous correction of amplitude of voltage supplying induction motors as a function of modulus of relative wheel mean slipping speed. When calculating relative wheel mean slipping speed for speeds of locomotive not exceeding 1 km/h, locomotive speed is taken equal to 1 km/h.;EFFECT: prevention of increased slipping of wheels and suppression of changing of wheel-to-rail adhesion force.;2 dwg
