FIELD: building, particularly concrete strength testing by tearing and shearing method.;SUBSTANCE: method for monolithic concrete piece strength testing by force-applying device with the use of anchoring means involves installing the anchoring means in orifice preliminarily bored in the concrete piece and measuring tearing force applied thereto. The orifice includes bored profiled groove. Anchoring means has projection mating in shape and dimensions with that of the bored profiled groove. Device for profiled groove boring comprises fixture secured to ball bearing and installed on conical surface of basic bush having support ledge. The fixture is made as double-armed lever. The first lever arm is used as handle, another one is provided with bore head secured thereto and provided with conical generating line and hole for tool installation. The hole is formed so that hole top is in axial fixture plane. The fixture is provided with row of orifices to adjust fixture location in accordance with predetermined groove depth. The anchoring means comprises anchor with threaded head formed at one end thereof and working part arranged at another end thereof. The head is connected with control rod. The working part is made as release and return cones. The anchoring means is also provided with central cylindrical part having flat spots. The means comprises segments surrounding the reverse cone and having support ledges and inner flat spots mating that of the central anchoring means part. Ends of the segments are provided with extensions shaped and dimensioned in accordance with the groove bored in the concrete orifice. The force-applying device comprises horizontal body with control rod extending along vertical body axis and fixedly secured to the anchoring means and anchoring means pre-stressing mechanism made as control rod drive steering-wheel installed on the body and mounted at upper threaded end of the control rod. The body is provided with slidable supports spaced equal distances from vertical body axis and piston pump with manual drive connected to loading device by channels formed in the body. The body is of parallelepiped shape and has central orifice for control rod receiving formed so that the control rod may perform longitudinal displacement and rotation relative the body. Slidable supports are situated in axial longitudinal body plane. The loading device is made as two hydraulic cylinders aligned with slidable supports connected to hydraulic cylinder rods. One support is U-shaped and rotationally secured to hydraulic cylinder rod. Another one is made as height-adjustable cap with cone threadedly connected to the rod. Piston pump axis is located in the body in parallel to longitudinal plane. The pump piston may perform longitudinal displacement and has threaded orifice to connect thereof with drive screw restricted from axial displacement in body orifice and attached with screw drive handle. Orifice drilling jig comprises guiding cylindrical bush having ledge and fixedly secured to the base. The base is made as equilateral triangle with rounded apexes, which create support extensions. The support extensions are provided with flat horizontal plate in central zone to support guiding bush ledge.;EFFECT: increased reliability of tests to be performed, improved test quality along with enhanced test accuracy and stability and increased convenience of test performing.;16 cl, 11 dwg
