METHOD FOR ESTIMATING GENERAL PERIPHERAL PULMONARY CIRCULATION RESISTANCE IN PATIENTS OF UNIVENTRICULAR HEMODYNAMICS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring oxygen consumption in patient organism, carrying out cardiac and large blood vessels catheterization, taking blood for making gas analysis from single ventricle from the right atrium or from vena cava. Blood saturation with oxygen in pulmonary veins is taken for 97%, pressure in pulmonary artery trunk is considered to be equal to age-specific standard value. Pulmonary blood circulation minute volume MC_PBC= MC_GBCxAVD_{O2 GBC}/AVD_{O2 PBC}, where MC_GBC is the greater circulation minute volume, AVD_{O2 PBC} is the arteriovenous difference on oxygen in pulmonary blood circulation and AVD_{O2 GBC} is the arteriovenous difference on oxygen in greater circulation. General peripheral pulmonary circulation resistance (GR_PBC) is calculated from MC_PBC value and age-specific standard values in pulmonary artery trunk. The GR_PBC value is also calculated from ratio of AVD_{O2 GBC}/AVD_{O2 PBC} as GR_PBC = 444.92(AVD_{O2 GBC}/AVD_{O2 PBC})^-0.4152, where 444.92 and -0.4152 are coefficients.;EFFECT: high accuracy in estimating planned operation risk.;2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
