METHOD FOR PLASTICALLY REMOVING HAND PALM SURFACE SOFT TISSUE DEFECTS USING PREFORMED CUTANOFASCIAL FLAP

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out full skin graft in inguinal region or on thigh. S-shaped incision is done along the radial artery on volar forearm surface with future vascular pedicle length being taken into consideration. The full skin graft is transferred to superficial fascia under forearm skin. Then, it is sutured along perimeter using interrupted sutures. Incision is done along S-shaped postoperative cicatrix 8-14 days later. Edges are separated with wound bottom being exposed. Superficial fascia with graft fixed thereon is cut out and lifted. The graft is turned towards the defect on hand palm surface.;EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment without instability and further graft tissue excess correction.;2 dwg
