CLAMP FOR FIXING VIBRATION DAMPER ON CONDUCTORS AND GROUND WIRES OF OVERHEAD POWER TRANSMISSION LINES

FIELD: power engineering; fixation of vibration dampers on conductors and ground wires of overhead power transmission lines.;SUBSTANCE: proposed clamp has body and screw die joined together by means of threaded bo hook-shaped notches are provided at ends of body and screw die to clamp conductor (ground wire) 4 of overhead power transmission line in-between. Triangular projections can be provided on inner surfaces of these notches to ensure reliable fixation of clamp 1 on conductor (ground wire) 4. Flexible damping member 2 is secured within body bushing by compressing it with hexahedral dies. Both body and screw die are of equal cross-sectional area throughout entire length and width which makes it possible to produce these parts from specific sections by cutting operation, sections proper being manufactured by forcing metal through dies. Screw die with two hook-shaped notches of different size makes it possible to use clamp for actually two groups of main sizes of line conductors and ground wires.;EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, facilitated manufacture and installation.;6 cl, 5 dwg
