FIELD: naval seismic prospecting.;SUBSTANCE: method can be used for building seismic pictures. Method is based upon placement of registration aids in water medium, in reception, irradiation and registration of waves by means of groups of hydrophone and geophone-type seismic detectors according to technique of multiple overlaps or similar probing, according to measurement of three-dimensional sonic speed fields as well as temperature, density, saltiness and flowing speed field followed by subsequent restoration of characteristics of medium based on measurements of signal delays. Registration aids are disposed at depths being equal to 1/3 and 2/3 average maximal depth to form a triangle at vertexes of which triangle the registration aids are placed. Pseudorandom signals are formed by means of registration aids. Signals are radiated synchronously within 2000-5000 Hz range. Circulation of field along closed beam trajectories is determined by comparing direct measurement of time difference along the circle in mutually opposite directions along different beams. Definition of mutual disposition of registration aids relatively each other is made after reconstruction of sound speed field on the base of signal delay along deep-water beam. To determine mutual disposition the difference received for any group of registration aids is used.;EFFECT: improved truth of seismic prospecting; improved attention to details.;2 cl, 2 dwg
