INTERMEDIATE GEARBOX OF HELICOPTER TAIL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

FIELD: construction of helicopter transmission systems.;SUBSTANCE: proposed intermediate gearbox of helicopter tail transmission system includes drive and driven bevel gear wheels, casing, sleeves of drive and driven bevel gear wheels secured in bores of casing with the aid of flanges for mounting the outer races of bearings of rear support of each gear wheel; inner races of bearings of front supports of each gear wheel are mounted on tip of gear wheel shaft; inner races of bearings of rear supports of each gear wheel; splined bushes adjoining them are mounted on tail section of shaft. Inner races of bearings of front support and inner races of rear support are secured with the aid of one flanged coupling bolt fitted inside gear wheel shaft whose flange adjoins inner race of front support bearings and two nuts; gear wheel shaft has inner flange with through hole for passage of threaded tail-piece of coupling bo first nut adjoins inner flange of shaft; it is used for securing the inner races of front support bearings and second nut is engageable through thrust bush with splined bush and is used for securing the inner races of rear support bearings of gear wheel. Outer races of rear support of gear wheels are secured in sleeve on internal side of sleeves. Inner part of casing cavity has well formed by its partition and provided with metering holes.;EFFECT: updating of construction; increased peak power; increased service life of intermediate gearbox of tail transmission system.;3 cl, 1 dwg
