METHOD OF MEASURING LIMIT INTENSITY OF DRYING OF MOLDED STRUCTURAL CLAY PRODUCTS ITEMS

FIELD: plastic molding.;SUBSTANCE: method can be used at plant laboratories for production of molded structural clay products items (hollow and filled-in bricks, building stones and ceramic tubes).For realization of the method, samples of items with thickness, being to half thickness of item's wall, which is admissible for convective two-sided drying under real production conditions, and disposed at specific distance from calibrated radiator, are subject to radiation of flux of maximal value at one side. At that value, under sequent irradiation of any sample during 4-5 times, cracks or buckling doesn't appear. Limit intensity of drying is defined as derivative from received value of maximal heat flow by specific heat of warming of water till evaporation temperature and till achieving phase transition to vaporous state.;EFFECT: improved quality; reduced output of reject.;4 cl
