A process for the reduction of the doppler centroid in the case of a coherent pulse - a radar system as well as the use of the method

The method provides reduction of the Doppler centroid and/or its variation by use of a yaw angle control, with combined control of the pitch angle, for reducing the Doppler centroid and/or its variation to a minimum over the full width of the ground strip scanned by the radar antenna of the synthetic aperture radar system.
