The plant for the distillation of liquids, especially seawater, has an accumulating folding tube (3) and a float (2). The folding tube is collapsible and the locked fluid in it can be transported from the deep through constricted pipes (15). With an increased feed of cold liquids from the deep these liquids in a cooling chamber (18) cool the cover of an inner chamber (21). As the cover cools, vapour condenses and a fluid condensate is formed which flows into a storage vessel (1) via another folding tube (12). With warming of the inner chamber the vapour and condensate forming accelerates.
