A yoke (4) is mounted to a lock case via securement pin (5) and interlocked with a fixed bracket to secure part of sports equipment such as bicycle struts. The yoke, formed of hardened steel coated in elastomer, consists of an end section (4a) parallel with the lower surface of the case, a U section (4b), and an L section (4c). The bracket is fixed to one end of cable or chain secured to the case. An independent claim is also included for a sports equipment.
