The closed housing (1) contains volumes for two stages, comprising primary sedimentation (2) and an activated sludge unit (3) with immersed membranes. A service water storage reservoir (6) is included. There are also an access (4) and a maintenance chamber (5). The sedimentation- and activated sludge stages are adjacent. The width of the housing is the sum of their respective widths. Casing height provides adequate working space out of the weather, for a person gaining access to the maintenance chamber via the entry (4). The surface of the service water storage unit is used for standing.
