The drive unit (10) has a spindle (14) inserted through a spindle nut (22). The spindle nut is inserted into a rear case (44), such that the rear case encloses and supports outer circumferential surface of the spindle nut during rotation. A screw (36) is coupled to a screw hole (34) formed on the support surface (48) of the rear case to support the spindle nut in axial retaining direction (46). The spindle has a screw-shaped outer circumferential surface (16) whose grooves (18) are formed complementary to the grooves of the thread channel formed in the internal surface of the spindle nut. Another screw (38) is used for holding the spindle in the spindle nut.
