A method for routing data packets in a communication network with several network nodes, in which in the nodes data is communicated where a first part of the network node is designed so it can fulfill a communication function, and a second part of the network node is designed so it provides a transport service for the first part of the network node. A first process is assigned to all network nodes of the first part, and a second process is designed to all network nodes of the second part. The first process carries out a routing with available connection requirements, and in which dynamically adaptive new resources are required for the second process.
