The equipment includes a scanner (17) which digitizes the negative film (3a) received from a developing chamber (5) and a fixing section (6) via a set of transport rollers (4). Preferably, the scanner is provided with an evaluation mechanism as well as with a monitor for the rendition of the digital graphic data and/or a non volatile memory for the graphic data. The evaluation mechanism is arranged to determine the image quality describing parameters from the graphic data and to display them, indicating the lowest and highest density.
