The bearing has self supported roles (14, 15) aligned essentially horizontal. Axes of rotation of the roles are partly adjustable, so that a shaft (11) supporting on the roles shifts into a standby position, and radial distance between the roles and the shaft is adjusted in a target position. The roles are arranged together on a vertically adjustable carrying body (20) and provided above the bearing role (14) in the bearing.
