The buoy has a balloon body, and a retainer (3) attached to a cylindrical shaft (2). The retainer has a vertical spacing for the body and is made of high-strength, dimensionally stable material. A funnel-shaped collar (4) is formed axially symmetric to the shaft and surrounds the retainer, so that a wide gap is formed between the collar and the retainer. A fastening clamp sealably connects the collar and the shaft in a force-fit manner.
