The drive has a propellant case (18) with a predetermined breaking point in a piston (12) that is moveable in a housing (10). An igniter (14) for igniting a propellant (16) is arranged in the case. The case is not connected or detachably coupled with the igniter through compression force developed after igniting the propellant. The case is fixedly connected with the piston and deforms itself after the ignition of the propellant.
