The present invention relates to a hormonal contraceptive consisting of 21 to 25 hormone-containing daily units containing a combination of ethinylestradiol in an amount of 25 mug and chlormadinone acetate in an amount of 5 mg, and from optionally 7 to 3 hormone-free daily units for oral administration women.
