A self-service (SB-) terminal for a financial institution's customer department, has the SB-terminal (1) provided in the floor-side with a device (2) for generating an air-cushion between the SB-terminal and a basement (3). The device (2) is specifically releasably arranged in the SB-terminal, and can be inserted into a laterally positioned shaft.
