The bushing (3) has high voltage conductor longitudinally passing through insulation and also has field deactivation conductive inserts embedded in insulation. The bushing also includes an outer clip (16) at the potential of first insert and connected to variable reference capacitor (Cn) and a voltmeter. The bushing has an inner clip (17) connected to an insert located far from the first insert. The voltmeter measures the momentary test voltage (U22) between the two clips, a momentary adjusting voltage (U23) of the earthed reference condenser and the phase shift between these two voltages. The first insert is set as the outermost insert of the bushing. An independent claim is also included for a determination method for the dissipation factor.
