Pharmaceutical pellet (A) comprises a spherical shaped active substance core (I) with a smooth surface and a coat (II) on the core, which induces the release (independent of the pH) of the active substance. Independent claims are also included for (1) collection of pellets comprising (I) and (II); (2) collection of cores; (3) the preparation of (A); (4) a method for the preparation of a tablet comprising mixing (A) with one or more components (fillers, binders, decomposers, flow regulators and lubricants) to form a mixture; and pressing the mixture; and (5) a tablet prepared by the method.
