The connection has two bolts (4, 5) connected with the base, where the bolt (4) encompasses a fixed snap-fit (6) and the bolt (5) encompasses a rotatable snap-fit (7). The back rest has a frame (8) that supports a cushion, where the snap-fits are directly connected with the frame. An independent claim is also included for a method for removal of a backrest from a motor vehicle.
