The device has a heel whose height is varied and which is fixed on a bottom part of a flexible sole (3). A base surface for a foot has the flexible sole, which fits left and/or right foot of a human being. The heel is shiftably arranged from a sole end towards a foot center. The heel is reversibly shifted in a metatarsal area of the foot towards a sole breath. An independent claim is also included for a procedure for learning the art of walking on the ball of the foot.
