Transmitter state determining method for intelligent installation network (KNX) at proximal end of electrical circuit, involves damping electrical resonating circuit by transmitter, so that resonance amplitude between pulses decreases
The method involves damping an resonant circuit (Tr, C1) by a transmitter (T) at the proximal end of an electrical circuit and obtaining the state of transmitter from the extent of damping. Periodic resonance of the resonating circuit amounts to 15 kilo hertz. The resonant circuit is stimulated by external pulses and is dampened in such a manner that the resonance amplitude between two pulses decreases clearly. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an apparatus of determining state of a transmitter in an intelligent installation network at the proximal end of an electrical circuit.
