The vehicle has a semifinished body (1) without a roof, whereby the required overall stiffness is achieved by fitting a fixed roof module (2) or fitting additional strengthening components (4) to the semifinished body. The fixed roof module can be joined to at least a cross-bearer of the body above the front windscreen and C-pillars of the body.
